Five Free Things You Can Do on The Gold Coast

The Gold Coast is a stunning holiday destination in the state of Queensland in Australia. There is a lot to do and see here. Today I would like to invite you to visit the city I live and I will show a few places where the locals go and they are all for free. All images below are mine.

First go for a walk and watch the amazing skyline of the most famous beach on the Gold Coast – Surfers Paradise.
One of my favourite spots is the Burleigh Heads National Park. It is easy to access and you can choose a light fairly easy walk with stunning views of the ocean on one side and the forest on the other side. You can even go swimming at the beach. Make sure you use the man made paths that will take you there. If you feel more adventurous, there is a walk through the bush and it will take you up, so you will have a view from a different angle.

The famous beaches of the Gold Coast are famous for many reasons. They are clean, stunning and great for swimming and surf. Currumbin Beach is one of my favourite beaches. Go exploring and take time to admire the majestic views, don’t forget the camera as this is a very picturesque seaside.

If you like flowers, take some time to visit the Gold Coast Botanic Gardens. Beautiful to walk around and also a place of great views. Very easy to access, free carpark available inside, large open areas for picnics. Take time to observe the wildlife.

We will finish our tour today at Tallebudgera Creek. As you can see, enjoy the beautiful sunset by the water.
